Hi Everyone,
We hope you are all well & keeping warm during this wet & wild wooly season of Winter. We apologize that this season’s Newsletter is a bit behind our usual schedule. There has been a lot going on in every aspect of life!
Winter is traditionally our time to concentrate on certain jobs like pouring & firing in preparation for our biggest event of the year – the Arcadian Artists Trail. This year the event will be held on the 8th & 9th of November. We are so excited to be part of this wonderful annual event that like a fine wine becomes even better as it continues to mature. We always love creating special pieces for this exhibition & we look forward to sharing the fruits of our labour with you very soon. We will provide more details about this remarkable event in our upcoming Spring Newsletter.
But back to this Newsletter for now…
We touch on our creative processes and run through how a spectacle frog comes to life. We also focus somewhat on our pouring and firing procedures. Attention to detail in these areas is paramount if you want to be successful in producing high quality functional & decorative items for the home & garden, which is what we strive to excel in. We hope that you find the information we have shared here of some interest as you continue to follow us on our creative ceramic journey.
With time travelling so quickly, it feels like November is only a stone’s throw away and we still have a lot to prepare, so it’s back to the Studio for us.
