WINTER 2023

Hi Everyone,

Hope you have been keeping well, & rugged up during this recent cold snap. We have definitely been pulling on the winter woolies & tucking into some great comfort foods including some delicious soups. This leads me to the theme of this season’s newsletter – bowls, bowls & more bowls. We have them in many shapes, sizes & colours, some of which are extremely suitable for soup amongst other winter warmers & treats. Please visit our website for more details www.sandrasceramicsstudio.com.au And please remember that if you don’t find what you are looking for there, just drop us a line or give us a call & we’ll be happy to discuss what else we have available at the studio. Visits to the studio are always welcome by appointment. 😊

Winter also sees us getting some much-needed pouring done. Our newsletter briefly explains the process & shows some examples of our handiwork. These items then become our clay canvases to paint on & then fire!

Preparations are well & truly underway for this year’s Arcadian Artists Exhibition & Art Trail weekend. The all-important dates have been released for this year’s event so be sure to place these dates in your diary now. Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th November 2023.

And finally, we were pleased to play a very small part in this year’s Hawkesbury Show via the Alpaca competition. We were commissioned by the local region’s Alpaca Association to produce some originally designed Alpaca trophies… please see the photos on page 2 of our Newsletter.

Wishing you all a lovely & cozy winter season!

With kind regards,

Sandra & Maria Vumbaca
